"So at first I loved state farm. They are nice, and very helpful. Fair prices at first. When it comes to canceling your policy please remove your debit card from the system. They do not send you an email for cancelation of policy and will charge you. I canceled 3 days before the due date and was still billed. Now they won't give me a full refund with some excuse of having to back pay. I have a detailed email of how one of my vehicles wasn't covered for one of the months and now they say I need to pay for that. If I had been in a car accident that month I didn't pay they would have told me I wasn't covered so why do I have to back pay? Make it make sense. That was an error on their part. The bill they charged me for says for auto insurance renewal, no mention of back pay. I have contested the charge with my bank. And there is no corporate number you can call without them wanting you to deal with your state farm agent. They will always transfer you to the people who didn't handle your insurance properly. So know if you have a problem with your agent, there is no one you can talk to but them. I've never had to deal with an insurance company like this."
